7th & 8th March 2026

Entry is Open!

What to expect at the RS Feva Class National Training – Coached Regatta (NTCR)
The national open training is a great way to hone your racing skills against some of
the more experienced sailors in the class and receive instant coach feedback.
The intention over the weekend is to run a Coached Regatta, with the opportunity to
run a few practice starts and lots of races with a target time around 20 minutes, with
the advantage of bigger fleet sizes than experienced at the regional squads and club
training, giving the sailors a unique training environment. The coaches will be free to
move around the racecourse, talk with sailors between races, to help maximise the
amount of learning for the sailors. The first briefing on Saturday will be at 10:00
to launch at 10:30.
We are hoping for around 30 boats entering and a lot of the schools have indicated
that they will be bring a minibus of their sailors.
We will be run some shore sessions after racing, with video reviews of the racing, an
opportunity to discuss any rules incidents and a chance to look at boat setup and
tunning. Video of the racing will also be shared with the sailors after the event. Last
year me managed to get some great drone footage of the racing and we hope to do
that again this year. The coaching team will be led by Duncan West (the Class
National Coach) with Chris Brooks and Tim Rush, and as entries grow, we will look
to add to this.

Information and feedback over the weekend will be posted on the class WhatsApp
group.
